Raptor Rooter & Plumbing is hiring a full-time Plumbing Dispatcher to join our team in Spokane Valley, WA. This customer service role pays $17–$22/hour based on your experience. This is a Monday through Friday position with some weekend availability needed at times. About the Role
As a Plumbing Dispatcher, you will come into the office ready to help both customers and our plumbing technicians. You will answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and dispatch technicians to customers’ homes. You will let customers know when to expect someone and update them if there are any delays. You will work ahead to plan out the schedules, making sure our technicians’ time is used wisely and that all job permits are ready. You will also pass along important information between the office, field crews, and supervisors.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from customers and schedule service appointments
- Dispatch plumbing technicians to customers’ homes in a timely manner
- Communicate arrival windows to customers and provide updates on any delays
- Plan and manage daily technician schedules to maximize efficiency
- Ensure all job permits are ready before technicians head out
- Pass along important information between the office, field crews, and supervisors
- Handle customer inquiries professionally and with a positive attitude
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of dispatch experience for a contractor or home improvement company
- Supervisory, customer service, and dispatch experience preferred but not required
